Having discovered Dubstep in 2007, DFRNT jumped at the opportunity to try his hand at production. He had worked on a number of styles in the past, all developing out of his previous production work on mashups and bootlegs.
Quick mix I put together, quite a healthy variety of dubstep, I’d say.. a real ‘grab bag of dubstep’ – hence the name. Could be a little tighter in a couple spots, but the keymixing sounds pretty good throughout.. Some deeper tunes, some more dancefloor beats in the second half, some vocal tunes, mostly new tunes, a couple classics.. Respect to all producers & labels featured, especially Toronto’s own XI!
